Common questions asked by clients: What is PRP therapy? How does the PRP procedure work? What are the main uses and benefits of PRP therapy? What conditions can PRP therapy treat? What are the benefits of PRP therapy for skin rejuvenation?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a regenerative medicine technique that utilizes the body’s natural healing processes. It involves drawing a small amount of blood from the patient, separating it to isolate platelets (which contain growth factors), and then injecting this concentrated platelet solution into the injured area to stimulate tissue repair and reduce inflammation.
- Whole blood
- The blood is placed in a centrifuge
- After centrifugation
- Platelet-poor plasma
- Platelet-rich plasma
- Red blood cells
When injected, the concentrated platelets in PRP release growth factors, which are proteins that stimulate cell growth and repair. These growth factors help reduce inflammation, promote the formation of new blood vessels and tissues, and ultimately accelerate the healing process.

- Wound Healing: Diabetic ulcers, chronic wounds
- Cosmetic Procedures: To reduce wrinkles and improve skin texture
